This is a monster character that I developed myself, for sprite animation in a game. 
This is the sketch of the character. Done in Adobe Photoshop CS6.
The sketch was then traced in Adobe Illustrator, grouped within each limbs. The animation was done in After Effects, by importing the AI file.
Below are the finished sprites. The movements are: steady, walking, jumping, punching, defense, injured, uppercut, anemone attack 1, anemone attack 2.
