The first idea came as a doodle. Just a normal, everyday bipedal dragon.
I have an idea of contrasting the dragon with a girl. Now the dragon is legless.
I remove the hands of the dragon, just make it more simple, and add the fruit in the scene.
Correcting the perspective with a 2 vanishing point perspective grid.
Add more details.
Inked and added the base color.
I fix the lineart for the main character, quite a major changes for the characters.
Rendered/ painted all the elements.
Final touch on the lighting and reducing the contrast for the background layers.
A reimagining of the old, classical scene. I chose Durians, because it was famous for its either you love it or you totally hate it. And it's addictive.
